Terms & conditions

  1. By entering this competition and following the instruction below, we’ll consider you’ve accepted and agreed to our Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
  2. The competition is open to all Sky employees and employees of Sky partner companies, based in the UK except for those employees, their families, agencies, or any other company directly connected with the management of this promotion.
  3. The prize draw starts at 14:00 (GMT) on Wednesday 7th February and will run until Sunday 25st February 2024
  4. All entries must be received by 23:59 (GMT) on the final date of the competition to be eligible for the prize draw.
  5. The first prize includes return travel to Madrid for 2 people, two nights overnight accommodation at a 3/4 star hotel near Madrid for 2 people, breakfast in the hotel restaurant in the mornings and  a pre-paid Mastercard to the value of £500.
  6. Your prize also includes 2 tickets to the WTA Mutua Madrid Open Final on Sunday 5th May 2024
  7. You must be able to travel to Madrid on Saturday 4th May and return on Monday 6th May 2024
  8. Flights will be as follows – morning for outbound to Madrid and late afternoon for return from Madrid
  9. Your prize includes travel based on where you live. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winners nearest international airport that operates direct flights to Madrid. Please note, this may not be your closest airport.
  10. You will be staying in a 3/4 star hotel, sharing a double or twin room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.
  11. Your prize must be claimed within 14 days of first contact. If you don’t claim the prize by 5pm on Day 14, the prize will be withdrawn and offered to another entrant.
  12. Any incomplete or illegible entries or entries which do not arrive within the noted time frame will not be accepted.
  13. The decision of Sky is final.
  14. The winners of the free prize draw will be drawn at random, from all eligible participants of the game.
  15. You must be over 18 at the time of participation to enter the competition.
  16. The prize is non-transferable and there’s no cash alternative. No other costs will be covered.
  17. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure the relevant and proper provisions are put in place to allow them and their guest to travel, such as an in-date passport and travel insurance.
  18. The prize is subject to availability and usual Sky terms & conditions apply.
  19. By entering, you give permission for Sky to post your first name and last name on Sky’s social media if you win.
  20. Sky is  not responsible for any entries not received, undelivered or delayed due to technical failure or any other reason beyond its control. No responsibility will be accepted by Sky for failed, partial or corrupted messages. This includes but is not limited to computer transmissions, telephone, cable or network failure, internet hardware or software malfunctions, acts or omissions of any service provider, traffic congestion or unauthorised human act.
  21. No warranty or guarantee is given by Sky in relation to any of the prizes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sky, its agents, associated companies, and trading partners will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, additional expenses, injury, or death howsoever caused, whether in contract (including without limitation negligence, fraud or malicious act), statutory or otherwise arising out of the competition or in connection with the acceptance of these terms and conditions or receipt or use of any prize awarded pursuant to the competition. Sky doesn’t guarantee the performance of any contractor or the obligations of any third parties associated with the prizes (including without limitation the manufacturer or promoter of any prize). Sky will not be liable for any fraud committed by any third party.
  22. Sky reserves the right to change or cancel the competition and/or the terms and conditions at any time and for whatever reason and/or amend or withdraw the competition (and/or any related prizes) in whole or in part at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Sky is also entitled to change the prize if, due to unforeseen circumstances it becomes impossible to provide the prize as described or in its opinion, it would be inappropriate in any way. In that event, a prize of equal or greater value will be offered.
  23. Sky at its sole discretion and at any time has the right to remove a participant from the competition if it has reasonable cause to believe that the participant has acted or is acting fraudulently, illegally or in an unauthorised manner. So, come on, play nice.
  24. This competition is governed by English law. If any provision of these T&Cs is found to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
