Showcasing a community

An authentic and emotional four-part miniseries spotlighting colleagues with disabilities, Beyond Limits shares their personal stories through intimate interviews and close collaboration. The series received strong engagement and praise, reinforcing Sky’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The ask

A request from Sky’s Disability Network to raise awareness of people with disabilities working at Sky – highlighting their personal experiences, challenges, and Sky’s initiatives to support and empower them.

The execution

We proposed an emotive four-part miniseries with each episode focused on amplifying individual experiences across the whole business.

The process required interviews, scripting, location scouting, filming, and editing.We challenged traditional approaches to diversity content by working closely with each guest to create a personal narrative that authentically represents who they are and how they see themselves – not how others see them.

This project was the perfect opportunity to showcase our storytelling expertise, with each guest wanting to set a unique tone to share their personal message.

Beyond Limits also ties in with our personal commitment to strengthening our diversity, accessibility and inclusion focus. Close to our hearts, we wanted to elevate the incredible people who make Sky a more diverse – and therefore, better – place to work.

The results

Collaborating with the wider business, we received 1,500 views in 72 hours and a record 1.96k views on Sky Today. It was also shared with the local community after featuring a community café.

This project highlighted the strong sense of community that makes Sky a great place to work, with over 100 heartfelt messages and supportive interactions from colleagues across the business.
